Jay L. Troup Foundation

Although there are an existing number of Zeta Delta Delta Chapter members worthy of this honor, we have been blessed with the privilege of naming it in remembrance of one of our own illustrious stars. A once bright star that has since been dimmed by our Supreme Basileus and the first to enter Omega Chapter. Jay L. Troup (aka Fats) initiated in Spring 1987 not only understood the need for education but devoted himself to placing and serving the needs of others before himself. Exemplifying the very cardinal principle of UPLIFT, Bro. Jay Lafayette Troup was a member of the organization for 25 years prior to his entrance into Omega Chapter.

This foundation will be in established in the honor and remembrance of his vibrant life. It will be a non-profit 501c3 organization. All guidelines and rules will be govern as stated in by-laws. It will provide financial support in means of assisting those who may be financially or economically challenged with the resources to further education or skills required to be competitive.
